Privacy policy

Sentinode is an uptime-monitoring service operated by MVCS ApS, a Danish company. This policy explains what personal data we process, why, and the rights you have. For anything below, contact support@sentinode.app.

• Account data: email, name, hashed password, organisation name.
• Configuration: monitor URLs, alert recipients, status-page setup.
• Telemetry from your monitors: HTTP status, response time, TLS details.
• Usage data: SMS sends, email sends, audit-log entries.
• Billing data: company name, address, VAT/CVR, and payment metadata (card details are handled by our payment processor, never by us).

We process account, configuration, and telemetry data to provide the service (performance of contract), billing data to take payment and meet accounting obligations (legal obligation), and a minimal amount of security and audit data to keep the service safe (legitimate interest). We do not sell personal data or use it for advertising.

We run Sentinode on a global edge network and a small set of subprocessors. Some of these may store or process data outside the EU/EEA. Where that happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. Backups are encrypted.

We rely on third-party providers for hosting and edge compute, database, transactional email, SMS, and payment processing. Each is bound by a data processing agreement. A current list of our subprocessors is available on request at support@sentinode.app.

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access is restricted and tenant-isolated at the database level, and accounts can enable two-factor authentication. We keep an audit log of significant account changes on paid plans.

We use only the cookies needed to sign you in and keep your session secure. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

Under GDPR, you can access, export, correct, or delete your data at any time. Use the Data export and Delete account actions in your account settings, or email support@sentinode.app. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Raw check results are kept for 90 days. Daily rollups are kept for the lifetime of the workspace. Audit-log retention follows your plan (none / 30 days / 1 year). When you delete your account, data is removed within 30 days, except records we must keep for legal or accounting reasons (such as invoices).

Sentinode is a business tool and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.

We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced by email or in-app before they take effect.
