Terms of service

1. Provider

Sentinode is operated by MVCS ApS, a Danish private limited company. Contact: support@sentinode.app. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms.

2. The service

Sentinode provides uptime monitoring, alerting, and status-page hosting. We may add, change, or remove features over time. Material reductions to a paid plan will be announced in advance.

3. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure, for activity under your account, and for the accuracy of the details you provide. We recommend enabling two-factor authentication. You must be at least 16 years old and authorised to bind your organisation to these terms.

4. Acceptable use

You may not use Sentinode to monitor systems you don't own or have explicit permission to monitor, to probe at a frequency that burdens a third party, or to launch, coordinate, or amplify attacks against any system. You may not resell the service without our written agreement.

5. Billing

Subscriptions are billed in advance via our payment processor, and EU VAT is added where applicable. SMS uses pre-purchased credit packs. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. You can cancel at any time; access continues to the end of the paid period.

6. Intellectual property

The Sentinode software, brand, and content are owned by MVCS ApS. You keep ownership of your data and configuration; you grant us the limited rights needed to operate the service for you.

7. Termination

Either party may terminate at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts for abuse, non-payment, or terms violations. On termination you can export your data; see the Privacy Policy for retention.

8. Data protection

We process personal data as described in our Privacy Policy. For paid plans we make a GDPR Data Processing Agreement available on request at support@sentinode.app.

9. Service availability

The service is provided on a best-effort basis. Free and Pro plans carry no uptime guarantee. A Service Level Agreement is available on the Business plan and is documented separately.

10. Warranties

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that monitoring will detect every incident or that alerts will always be delivered.

11. Liability

Liability is capped at the fees paid in the preceding 12 months. Sentinode is monitoring software, so we are not liable for downstream damages caused by missed or delayed alerts beyond that cap. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced by email or in-app before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing law

Danish law, courts of Copenhagen.
